ABOUT ME

I am Michael McBride, a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Irvine whose research and teaching focuses on game theory and experimental economics. You can browse my professional website for more information.

My creation of fair-credit baseball statistics combines my professional and non-professional interests. I am also a big baseball and softball fan and have coached both sports for many seasons at the youth level. I have even published two books (here and here) on how to apply sabermetrics when coaching youth. My work on the FCB Statistics will be published in a forthcoming book Game Theory, Machine Learning, and Production in Sports: The Fair-Credit Baseball Statistics (World Scientific Publishing).
